The 5-Step Methodology

The full package. Here the client has a plan in mind - but has not yet begun to embark on it, and/or has embarked on it but has yet to choose a suitable "launchpad". Here the aim of the consultation  is the client's specific goal, and we'll assist from the start to the finish - from the selection of a suitable location, to the layout of that location, to the post-mortem.

The 4-Step Methodology

For clients who have already have a pre-selected location established and in use, or already in development, the 4-Step Methodology simply omits the Selection step at the beginning. It starts by going straight into the Assessment phase. The aim, in this case,  is to get the best possible result out of the property the client currently occupies, one that brings the client closer to his goal.

In Feng Shui, from bigger landforms to your work desk, there are layers and dimensions of Qi influences that require specific know-how to utilize. It takes a specialist to tell:

• when a barren land can possibly see vibrant commercial activity, or
• the best time to begin massive construction project for a given infrastructure, or
• what type of activities are best-suited for an empty plot of land land, or
• how a town, city, estate, or land, should be laid out to maximise its best potentials.

At First Principles, we apply our specialised knowledge to make the best selection for our clients.

Selection is not a full Assessment, but the first step.

It is the process in which we gauge if the subject in question (be it land, building, personnel, partners, business or employment opportunities) is best suited for our client's specific purpose.

Coupled with your own preferences, know-how, and the opinions of other professionals, this information would allow you to reduce the risk of making the wrong decision on a plot of land, a piece of property, a business opportunity, and even employee/partner selection.

Proper selection is your first line of defense.

The Selection Phase is the first thing we need to do. The second phase is detailed Assessment Phase where we map out the 3 planes of Heaven, Man & Earth with Qi mapping of your properties, and, your birth data.

After the Assessment phase is when we start designing solutions for our clients. These solutions contain placements of infrastructures down to the internal layout of your facility.

Of utmost importance in this phase is the interaction between the Yin-Yang energies and the 5 Elements. This need not compromise the aesthetics of your property, as long as your architects and interior designers work with the Feng Shui specialists in the early stages of planning.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no need to make your property look like a traditional Chinese restaurant, or be swamped by water features. In fact:
