The real world and Mother Nature do not conform to linear principles. In most cases, they instead are consistent with non-linear theory. Chinese ancient Science is about non-linear dynamism.
- Yin and Yang are never separated. This is a system that is self-reinforcing wherever it may be, and its energies are never dispersed.
- The Five Elements are never about only an isolated physical form. This part of the above self-reinforcing system; each of the elements goes through ever cyclical motions within the Yin-Yang plane.
- There is a Trilogy of Heaven, Man and Earth plane is always within each Yin/Yang and Five Elements systems.
- These three systems/fundamentals of Chinese ancient science are eternally cyclical, yet never repeat through the passage of time.
Such notions and fundamentals are about non-linear dynamics – the order within the chaos of nature. They are the primary reasons why it is so difficult for modern-day people to understand the science behind Chinese Metaphysics and Chinese ancient Science systems. Most are spoilt by our artificial realm of ‘certainty’ in our social, economic and analytical science systems.
